Double-U …… T F !! and don’t make me word that out for you
Well here we go again with yet another update on the endless quest for for a tonneau cover for the back of my Ford f150 . I’m sure you recall that the first effort brought the purchase of one too short for my vehicle because what I received was one for a Dodge Ram . On top of which the one week shipping for my cover actually took a month . The company that sold it to me didn’t want it back and instead asked I provide pictures of that Tonneau for the Dodge all sliced up with a razor knife . I did receive my refund on the strength of the pics that obviously showed my angst .
Not to be easily dissuaded I went elsewhere and started the ball rolling all over again . The second effort was slightly more successful as the one week shipping only took eight days if you can call receiving the wrong item… again … a success. I got new carpeting for a 1988 – 96 Ford F250 instead of a tonneau for a 2013 F150 .
This time the shipper wanted the item back and promptly sent a shipping label with the request I pack it back in the original box. The nice customer support team informed me that the correct order will be shipped immediately that the Fedex tracking number shows I’ve shipped the unwanted carpet back …. that was nineteen days ago and the replacement package from them has just arrived .
Outward appearence of this package is in much nicer shape than the last one which held the tan carpet for a four door Crew Cab F250 but that was of little consequence as the contents are everything I need to re carpet a 1988-96 Ford F250 Regular Cab . I suppose this could all be construed as funny …. if only I could remember how to laugh .
